A series of courses exploring creativity, based on simple drawing projects related to the natural environment, local architecture and natural forms. We focus on how to make the best use of a sketchbook to document your surroundings through observational drawings, which we go on to develop into patterns and designs by following a series of developmental strategies. Together we will look at how to gather and assemble information, how and what to draw in your sketchbook and how to develop layouts and designs from your sketches. Lots of fun and suitable for beginners and as well as more experienced students.
A majority of the materials you will need are provided along with tea, coffee and biscuits but you will need to provide your own lunch.
